周博士目前是教授、全球醫療發展副總裁、國際研究副院長，以及南佛羅裏達大學藥學院和Morsani醫學院藥理學係主任，佛羅裏達州坦帕市33612。周教授於1989年在中國完成臨床醫學培訓，並於2001年在新西蘭奧克蘭大學醫學與健康科學學院獲得博士學位。他在奧克蘭大學繼續他的博士後培訓直到2002年11月。自2002年以來，周博士一直擔任新加坡國立大學、昆士蘭科技大學(澳大利亞)、RMIT大學(澳大利亞)的教員，現在是南佛羅裏達大學。主要研究方向為藥物發現/係統藥理學、藥物代謝/藥物轉運與藥代動力學、藥物基因組學/藥物遺傳學、納米醫學和中醫藥。在《新英格蘭醫學雜誌》、《癌症研究》、《生物化學雜誌》、《臨床藥理學與治療學》、《致癌學》、《JPET》、《藥物代謝與處置》、《臨床癌症研究》等藥理學和醫學期刊上發表了330多篇同行評議論文。他還出版了16本書和書籍章節，並發表了310多篇會議摘要。他的工作被其他同事引用超過8600次，h指數為46。他從各個資助機構和行業獲得了超過2200萬美元的資助。迄今為止，他已經培養了24名博士生，12名理學碩士/榮譽生，14名博士後和25名訪問教師。 Dr Zhou serves as an editor-in-chief or editor for 16 journals including Drug, Healthcare and Patient Safety, Drug Metabolism Letters, and Current Drug Metabolism and is the editorial board member of more than 50 medical and pharmacological journals. Dr Zhou has given more than 100 invited seminars/keynote presentations to a variety of academic institutes, government agencies, and high-profile international conferences. He is a recipient of several teaching and research awards, a member of numerous national and international professional societies, and a visiting professor of many reputable research universities.
